BISY STANCHEVA BIO

Bisy has been a Certified Bookkeeper through the American Institute for Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB) since 2010 and has experience in accounting and bookkeeping for more than sixteen years.

She graduated with her Bachelor degree in Finance from New Bulgarian University, holds a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Prevention from Southern New Hampshire University and is working on getting her MBA and becoming a Certified Public Accounting.

Her passion for non-profits has grown exponentially in the last few years as well as her knowledge about their accounting, operating and fundraising needs.

She is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Nantucket Community Music Center, in addition to being a board director for the ssf.

Bisy lives on Nantucket with her husband Joao and their two sons Sebastian and Nikolas, who enjoy everything this beautiful island has to offer.

her family is avid fans of Formula One racing and Sporting Lisbon in Portugal.
