CHRIS UCKO BIO

Chris spent a 20 year career in finance as a research analyst, moving on to run a 100-person research team at CreditSights, then becoming President, and ultimately + successfully selling the business to Fitch Corporation in 2022.

Chris is an active outdoorsman having climbed Mt Rainier and Grand Teton in recent years with a true love for nature and an outdoor sports lifestyle.

He is a father of 2 young athletes Mac (11) and Chloe (9) who visit nantucket in the summer (and off season) to enjoy the beauty of the island that chris was able to enjoy during his youth.

chris is also a life-long squash, tennis, and platform-tennis athlete who continues to compete + excel in regional + national tournaments, often with his brother as his teammate.

he looks forward to helping the ssf carry out its purpose to empower youth athletes with skills for life + play + their future, and is specifically interested in growing the mentor network so each ssf athlete can have a consistent resource available to them during their youth development.
