Guus koevermans BIO

I'm Guus Koevermans, 26 years old, and coming from a family that highly values hard work and sports.

Growing up, my father's career as a professional tennis player inspired me to follow in his footsteps and pursue a path in tennis.

Fueled by my passion, I made the decision to move to the United States after high school and enrolled at the University of San Diego on a tennis scholarship.

After my college career, I transitioned into coaching, a role that allowed me to share my knowledge and passion for tennis with others. For two years, I had the opportunity to work closely with my sister, who is now ranked among the top 700 players in the world.

Since the start of 2023, I've found a renewed sense of purpose and motivation. Drawing from my own experiences and the success I witnessed firsthand, I felt compelled to extend my support beyond my sister's career. I decided to focus on helping and managing other athletes who aspire to secure scholarships at American colleges or pursue professional careers in tennis and football.

Being a part of the Sustainable Sports Foundation is vital to me as it helps young athletes excel in their sport and provides future opportunities. As a mentor, I can share my experiences and guide these athletes on their journey.

The ssf’s commitment to inclusivity and sustainability resonates with my own values. It's a chance for me to make a positive impact, empowering athletes and promoting a sustainable and inclusive sports environment.
