MARGET KORN BIO

Margret was born and raised on nantucket island, moving off-island for a few years to attend lehigh university and then live on another island, new york city.

she prides herself on being a combination of loyal + caring + hard working. She has worked for ralph lauren for 18 straight years, managing the retail business on nantucket for 13 of those. she has two young boys (also nantucket natives) who are as competitive as her + kevin combined which makes for an “active” household.

Margret’s experience in managing operations, people, budgets, customer expectations, and brand culture as well as her understanding of how to create an inclusive environment for a global brand in a smaller community helps her drive a succesful business. she is active in community involvement and has led or been a part of collaborative initiatives on-island that includes the nantucket historical association (NHA), a safe place, and autism speaks.

as a nantucket high school whaler, margret was a dual sport athlete in field hockey & softball, and is now excited to help build the ssf so she can mentor middle + high school girls who want to elevate their skills, grow their confidence, and pave their own paths as the next generation of leaders, on & off island.
