MIKe PAGET BIO
Mike has visited Nantucket his entire life. He grew up in New Jersey as a three sport athlete (tennis, basketball, & ice hockey), went on to played D1 tennis at University of Vermont, and then made his way to NYC for a career in finance.
as a teenager, mike won the national championship for his age group in platform tennis and has not been able to let his competitive side fade, forcing :-) him to compete in men’s tennis, squash, and platform tennis tournaments to this day.
The island was a huge part of mike’s youth and he understands the nantucket community’s unique culture + how it has evolved over the years.
Mike started his professional career at Bear Stearns in 1998, moved to London to work in their Distressed / Special Situations group in 2004, then onto Fortis Bank and BNP Paribas before joining Stifel in 2013 and being promoted to European Head of Fixed Income Sales in June 2019.
he and his family have lived in London for 18 years, spending three months of each year on-island where his two daughters play tennis, sail, and explore nantucket with their younger cousins.
He is excited about the alliance that the SSF has created and how the partnership with Bloomsbury Football will expand the opportunities that both foundations create for youth athletes in the US and across the pond in the UK.
